ด้วยในห้วง 24-29 ธ.ค.61 จะมีเรือของกองทัพเรือสหรัฐ ประกอบด้วย เรือบรรทุกเฮลิคอปเตอร์ USS ESSEX เรือช่วยรบ USNS Cesar Chavez และ USNS Henry J Kaiser พร้อมลูกเรือ และ กำลังพลนาวิกโยธิน จำนวน ประมาณ 1,000 นาย เข้าเยี่ยมเมืองท่าจังหวัดภูเก็ต ในฐานะเจ้าบ้านที่ดี ขอให้ต้อนรับแขกผู้มาเยือนอย่างอบอุ่น นอกจากนี้ จะขอความร่วมมืองดการบินโดรนเข้าใกล้ตัวเรือ ในระยะสองกิโลเมตร เพื่อความปลอดภัยของเรือมิตรประเทศ
On 24-29 December 2018, ships of the US Navy consisting of an amphibious assault ship USS Essex, a dry cargo ship USNS Cesar Chavez, and a replenishment oiler ship USNS Henry J Kaiser along with 1,000 Marines will be visiting Phuket port. As a good host and for security reason, we would like to ask for your cooperation to not fly any types of aerial vehicles or drones within proximity of 2 kilometers from the US ships. The third area naval command would like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation. ///
