Talented new Indian Sous Chef to showcase South Asian specialties for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus authentic catering for major events and Indian weddings
Phuket, Thailand, October 30, 2025 – Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort is bringing the authentic flavors and fragrances of India to the pure shores of Phuket with the appointment of its talented new Indian Sous Chef, Ashutosh Nautiyal.
Chef Ashutosh has almost two decades of culinary experience in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and his native India. Having learned his craft in the kitchens of leading international hotels, including properties under the Radisson Hotel Group and Taj Hotels, Resorts & Palaces, as well as the British Club in Bahrain, he moved to Thailand for the first time in 2022 to become Sous Chef at an all-villa resort in Hua Hin. Most recently, he delighted diners at the five-star SO/ Sofitel Hua Hin.
Chef Ashutosh now brings his skill and creativity to Four Points by Sheraton Phuket Patong Beach Resort. From October 2025 onwards, guests will be able to discover the timeless tastes of India at Chao Leh Kitchen, the bright and vibrant international restaurant, and Sears & Co. Bar and Grill, which specializes in prime meats and fresh seafood with stunning sea views.
His signature dishes include chicken tikka (marinated chicken skewers), vegetable biryani (spiced baked rice), nihari gosht (aromatic slow-cooked Indian stew), and palak paneer (creamy spinach with homemade cheese), as well as the ever-popular butter chicken, a wonderfully rich and indulgent curry. Chef Ashutosh will interact with diners as he cooks dishes to-order at open kitchens, and his breakfast live stations will offer spicy morning treats.
Chef Ashutosh will also enable the resort to provide exceptional Indian catering for important events, such as gala dinners and destination weddings. He specializes in Traditional Indian cuisine as well as Mediterranean, Arabic, and Middle Eastern dishes, and he will be instrumental in teaching the hotel’s junior chefs about the techniques and traditions of these culinary styles.
