Tesla Center Chiang Mai, the first full-service Tesla center in Northern Thailand
Bangkok, Thailand, September 16, 2026 – Tesla Thailand continues to expand its regional service network with the opening of Tesla Center Chiang Mai, Tesla’s first full-service center in Northern Thailand. Building on the Tesla Experience Center at Central Chiang Mai Airport, the new center becomes Tesla’s 10th location in Thailand, making it more convenient for customers in Chiang Mai and surrounding provinces to access Tesla products and services.
Tesla Center Chiang Mai brings Tesla’s full-service experience to Northern Thailand for the first time, allowing customers to explore the vehicles, take a test drive, place an order, and take delivery, as well as access after-sales services, all in one location without having to travel to Bangkok. With dedicated technicians specializing in Tesla vehicles, customers in the North can enjoy greater peace of mind throughout their journey of ownership.
To support the transition to electric vehicles, Tesla Thailand is also offering additional benefits for customers looking to switch from their current vehicle to a Tesla through the Trade-In program, along with an exclusive offer to celebrate the opening of Tesla Center Chiang Mai for customers who place an order at any Tesla location in Chiang Mai.
Open House at Tesla Center Chiang Mai
Following the success of Tesla’s first Open House in Bangkok, Tesla Thailand is bringing the event to Chiang Mai for four days, from September 17–20, 2026. The event will also feature Tesla’s Trade-In program, allowing customers to bring in vehicles of any brand, including Tesla, for a preliminary valuation within 1-hour¹. Currently, the Model 3 starts at 1,149,000 THB, with monthly payments from 9,999 THB², while the Model Y starts at 1,719,000 THB, with monthly payments from 12,999 THB³. These payment options are designed for customers who prefer lower monthly payments, with additional financing options including 0% down⁴ for those who want to get started without an upfront lump-sum payment, or interest rates from 1.89%⁵ for those looking for a lower interest rate. All plans come with 1-year complimentary first-class insurance⁶, allowing customers to choose the payment option that best suits their needs.
Tesla Thailand also offers the Refer & Earn program for referring friends and the Loyalty Program for referring family members when purchasing a Model 3, Model Y, or Model Y L. Referred customers receive a 8,500 THB discount, while referrers receive 4,250 credits. Family members who become new Tesla owners can also receive additional benefits, subject to applicable terms and conditions. These programs allow Tesla owners to share their ownership experience and invite those close to them to become part of the Tesla community in Thailand.
Supercharger at Backyard Mahidol, Chiang Mai
The expansion of Tesla’s service locations is accompanied by continued investment in charging infrastructure to support customers across the country. Tesla Thailand has recently opened new Supercharger locations at Backyard Mahidol in Chiang Mai and Global House in Ratchaburi, further expanding charging coverage across Northern and Western Thailand.
Tesla currently operates 49 Supercharger stations with 265 charging stalls and 19 Destination Charger locations with 73 charging points across Thailand, with further expansion underway to support EV travel and ownership across the country.
In addition, the Tesla Owners Club Thailand network has expanded to Chiangmai for the first time, giving members access to partner benefits across hotels, restaurants, cafés, and lifestyle destinations in the area. The network will continue to expand its benefits to other regions across Thailand.
