Thailand – 4 December 2019: The JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa’s second traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony ushering in the much-awaited festive holiday season and joyful celebrations. The event took place on Sunday, 1 December 2019 at the Lobby where the towering 5-metre giant Christmas tree is standing and welcoming the guests upon arrival. The event led by Mr. George Varughese, General Manager of JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa alongside with Mr. Kurtis Peterson, Primary School Principal, Mr. Jason McBride, United World College Thailand’s Head of School and The Christmas Carols were performed by 38 students from UWC Thailand International School joined by hotel guests, parents, media, associates and Phuket residents.
